Publication Ethics

Indonesian Journal of Educational Innovation (IJEI) upholds the highest ethical standards in publishing to ensure integrity, transparency, and responsibility among all parties involved in the publication process. This includes authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers.

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Manuscripts submitted must be original and not published or under consideration elsewhere. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. All submissions will be checked for plagiarism using standard detection software.

  • Authorship: Only those who have made substantial contributions to the research and manuscript preparation should be listed as authors. All authors must approve the final version and agree to submission.

  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or publication process.

  • Data Integrity: Authors must ensure accuracy and reliability of data presented. Any fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data constitutes unethical behavior.

  • Confidentiality: Information about submitted manuscripts must be kept confidential by editors, reviewers, and publishing staff.

  • Correction and Retraction: If significant errors or ethical violations are discovered post-publication, the journal commits to issuing corrections or retractions as appropriate.

  • Fairness: Editorial decisions are made based on the manuscript’s quality and relevance without discrimination based on authors' race, gender, nationality, or institutional affiliation.
