Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines for Indonesian Journal of Educational Innovation (IJEI)

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other publication.

  • Submissions should be in English or Indonesian and prepared using the journal’s template on A4 paper with specified margins and font formatting.

  • Manuscripts should range between 3,000 to 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

  • Files must be submitted in Microsoft Word format via the journal's online submission system.

2. Manuscript Structure

  • Title: Clear, concise, informative, and limited to no more than 20 words.

  • Authors: Full names with affiliations and corresponding author’s email address.

  • Abstract: Max 200 words including research objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions.

  • Keywords: 3-5 relevant keywords arranged alphabetically.

  • Main Sections: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, References.

  • Tables and Figures: Embedded within the text at appropriate locations, with clear captions.

3. Ethical Considerations

  • Manuscripts must adhere to ethical standards regarding plagiarism, research integrity, and authorship.

  • Plagiarism will be checked using standard software and manuscripts with detected plagiarism will be rejected.

4. Peer Review Process

  • The journal applies a double-blind peer review system.

  • Authors should be prepared to revise manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.

5. Reference Style

  • References must follow APA or journal-specific citation style.

  • All cited references should be listed and accessible.

6. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal first publication rights under Creative Commons license (CC BY-SA).

7. Submission Process

  • Register and submit manuscripts online at the journal’s submission portal.

  • Follow step-by-step submission stages: uploading files, entering metadata, and confirming submission.
